a perfect sundress

This Modcloth sundress is just so cute. The high waist will flatter most body types, and the pretty pastel color is just right for late summer parties. It goes up to a size 3x. According to the reviews, it looks great on plus-size women and it's extremely comfortable. The pictures confirm that, and that it's a perfect just above the knee length.

I own this dress in pink. It gets compliments every time I wear it. I admit the length us a little strange; I generally compensate by wearing it with boots.

Now, I am not a pencil skirt girl. I try them on, they look great, and buy and never wear them. If you are someone who'd actually wear a pencil skirt, this one is a great choice.The bandage detailing would look much better on than it does in the picture (read the reviews!) and add a little oomph to what could be a boring black skirt. This would look great with a colorful blouse tucked in, or your favorite t-shirt worn tucked out.

a perfect failure: hideous polyester skirt

As you can see from previous posts, I have no problem with maxi skirts. I do have problems with polyester hideousness. Whatever you do, don't buy this ugly, ugly skirt. It will cut your legs off at a funny place. It is made of double-knit polyester.

I'd argue it was a good buy for a trip to a conservative culture because the artificial fiber will make sure it never creases, only you'd want ankle-length for that. This skirt has no redeeming value.

PS: if you do need a skirt for your trip to Jerusalem, this maxi skirt would be a nice choice.

a perfect beachy tunic

I think this tunic is very Jackie O in the beach in Nantucket. It has a lovely drape and the neck would frame the fame just right.
