Casual Plus December coupon

Honestly, Casual Plus kind of sucks. Quality is low and sizing is inconsistent. But they're got a big selection, and when you need something cheap and highly specific, they can be a good choice. Here's the December coupon, possibly useful for holiday party clothes.

a perfect hoodie

This is only going to fit up to an 18 or so, but I just love this hoodie so much. Someone make it in a plus size?

perfect fleece

Sometimes, you don't want to be stylish. You want to be cozy. These two fleeces are great choices.

Choice #1 - Calvin Klein Performance Hoodie

I like the wide funnel neck, and the flattering seams.

Choice #2 - Peach Couture Warm & Cozy Plus Size Polar Fleece Hoodies

It has the word cozy right there in its name! And I like the contrast piping.

perfect fingernails: indie nail polish

Sometimes I get way, way into my nails, and sometimes I ignore them. When I'm having fun, though, I like to send my money somewhere other than giant companies. Did you know that you can get nailpolish somewhere other than the drugstore or department store? Check out these sellers of indie nail polish. They consider themselves to be artists, and it shows.

Llarowe sells all kinds of indie polishes

So does Ninja Polish.

a perfect sequin tunic

This is another tricky one, with a model/clothing mismatch in fit. I suspect, though, that this sequined Ulla Popken top would look great on just about anyone.

a perfect boatneck tunic

I always forget the boatneck. I buy v-necks and scoop necks and nary a v-neck to be found. But when I wear one of the few that I own, I am always pleased with how they manage to be modest yet flattering and un-frumpy.

This would be a great tunic for jeggings or skinny corduroys.

A perfect billowy tunic

This is another one of those annoying retailers who put straight-size models in plus clothing. That being said, I think this tunic would look great on any pear, apple, or hourglass shape with a medium-to-large bust.

A perfect metallic tunic

It's hard to be sure since the tunic is way too big for the model wearing it, but I think this metallic tunic would look great with a pair of skinny jeans or leather leggings.

A perfect party dress

I was going to stop with the dresses already, but I was on the Nordstrom's site and this Adrianna Papell cocktail dress is just so very nice.

A perfect dress

Okay, I was browsing FullFigurePlus and saw this amazing, amazing dress. I yearn for it. I can't figure out how to put a picture here, so just click on this link and go see it. Then come back and tell me you understand my love. And it's from lane Bryant - will wonders never cease?

(I think that's a FullFigurePlus affiliate link, so you'll make money for someone else if you click! Do it anyway!)

perfect premium denim

I am so psyched that you can get so much plus size premium denim now. Totally loving these bootcuts from KUT from the Kloth.

perfect colorblocking from IGIGI

For that last post, I looked at almost every IGIGI dress, and I noticed something. Their colorblocked dresses are fantastic. Proof:

#1 - The Sophie Colorblock Dress

The combination of curves and colorblock gives me the good kind of shivers.

PS: OMG they also have it in purple. I may weep.

#2 - The Daphne Wrap Dress

The contrasting sash gives a subtle colorblock effect, and it's very flattering.

#3 - The Alexandra Colorblock Dress

Slightly mod, totally work appropriate as long as you're not too corporate. Fun and flattering but subtler than the Sophie dress. It's just a great look.

three perfect party dresses

This post is for a friend of mine: you know who you are.

Dress #1 - IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel Plus Size Anaitis Dress

I think this might be a little long on you, but you'd look great in this shape and color. However, this is kind of conservative. I'd like to see you show more cleavage.

Dress #2 - IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel Plus Size Leigh Lace Dress in Gold

I know it seems like I am favoring IGIGI, but they make awesome plus size formal dresses. And this one just seems totally you to me. They also have it in purple, but gold seems more versatile.

Dress #3 - Strapless Chiffon Goddess Gown

I think you'd totally rock this in a seafoam green or red. Or black if you're feeling responsible.

If you want to click around on your own, Grand Gowns has a massive selection of plus size evening dresses. They don't tend to be fashion-forward, but they're very pretty.

A perfect cowl neck T

Love this sweater; the cowl neck drapes like a necklace. So simple and so pretty. Also love the two vivid color choices - red and gold. I can picture it with skinny jeans for casual days or dressed up with a pencil skirt.

Yep, that was an affiliate link. Click it and buy me some gumballs!
